Yoga Techniques to Overcome Anxiety

This workshop will address topics such as what is anxiety, how do we recognize it, and how do we deal with it in our everyday lives.

You will also learn yoga techniques for overcoming anxiety. Yoga techniques taught in this workshop include the following:

  • yoga poses

  • breath work

  • mudras or hand gestures

  • meditation 

  • positive affirmations

You will leave with a tool box of yoga techniques to manage your stress/anxiety. Plus, each participant will receive handouts with useful information. 

No prior yoga experience is necessary.  Everyone is welcome!

Yoga for Osteoporosis

This workshop will focus on yoga for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia to strengthen normal and weakened bones.

Osteoporosis, the loss of bone density, is a natural part of the aging process, but when too much bone is lost the bones become weak and susceptible to fractures or breaks.

Osteoporosis can be prevented and treated through regular weight bearing exercise such as Yoga. Yoga helps to stimulate bone strengthening for the whole body while being low-impact.

This workshop will teach yoga poses that are beneficial for your bones.

The Chakra Scan is a fun introspective workshop that creates awareness of our 7 Chakras in a guided journey of self discovery. Each student will have the opportunity to observe, write & draw each of their energy centers on a Body Map provided. It's a deep and interactive meditation designed for self healing.

Vinyasa Masterclass - the 5 Koshas
